Welcome to Baslinton Nigeria Limited ("Baslinton," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Baslinton regarding your use of our logistics platform, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Baslinton operates a digital platform that connects truck owners, drivers, and customers for logistics and transportation services within Nigeria. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By using Baslinton, you confirm that:

  • • Customer support

Service Availability

Our Services are currently available within Nigeria. We may expand to other regions in the future. Service availability may be subject to geographical limitations, regulatory requirements, and operational considerations.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use our Services, you must create an account by providing:

  • Accurate and complete personal information
  • Valid business registration (for commercial users)
  • Required documentation (vehicle registration, insurance, licenses)
  • Contact information and payment details

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Immediately notifying us of unauthorized access
  • Keeping your account information current and accurate

Account Restrictions

  • • One account per user or business entity
  • • No sharing of accounts between multiple users
  • • No creation of fake or misleading profiles
  • • All information must be truthful and current

User Responsibilities

Truck Owners Must:

  • • Maintain valid vehicle registration and insurance
  • • Ensure vehicles meet safety and legal standards
  • • Provide accurate vehicle specifications
  • • Maintain professional driver standards
  • • Complete deliveries as agreed
  • • Respond promptly to customer communications

Customers Must:

  • • Provide accurate delivery information
  • • Make items available for pickup as scheduled
  • • Ensure cargo complies with legal requirements
  • • Pay for services as agreed
  • • Treat drivers and service providers respectfully
  • • Report issues promptly and honestly

General Obligations

All users must comply with applicable laws, use the platform respectfully, protect confidential information, and maintain professional standards in all interactions.

Payments & Fees

Service Fees

  • • Platform fee: 8% of completed transactions
  • • Premium subscription: ₦500/month
  • • Payment processing: 2.5% for card payments
  • • No hidden fees or charges

Payment Terms

  • • Payments processed within 24-48 hours
  • • Multiple payment methods accepted
  • • Automatic invoicing and receipts
  • • Dispute resolution process available

Important Payment Information

  • • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes
  • • Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
  • • Refunds processed according to our refund policy
  • • Payment failures may result in service suspension

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Platform Abuse

  • • Creating fake accounts or profiles

Technical Violations

  • • Attempting to hack or disrupt services
  • • Using automated tools without permission
  • • Reverse engineering our software
  • • Accessing unauthorized areas of the platform

Intellectual Property

Baslinton's Rights

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and their compilation, are owned by Baslinton and are protected by Nigerian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content Rights

  • • You grant us license to use your content
  • • Content must not infringe third-party rights
  • • We may remove infringing content

Usage Restrictions

  • • No copying or redistribution without permission
  • • No reverse engineering of our software

Liability & Disclaimers

Platform Role

Baslinton acts as an intermediary platform connecting truck owners and customers. We do not own vehicles, employ drivers, or directly provide transportation services. All transportation services are provided by independent truck owners and drivers.

Limitation of Liability

  • • No liability for indirect or consequential damages
  • • Maximum liability limited to fees paid
  • • No guarantee of service availability
  • • Users bear responsibility for their actions

Service Disclaimers

  • • Services provided "as is" without warranties
  • • No guarantee of specific outcomes
  • • Third-party integrations not under our control
  • • Users should verify all information independently

Important: These limitations may not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

Termination by User

  • • Close account anytime through settings
  • • 30-day notice recommended
  • • Complete all pending transactions
  • • Data retention per privacy policy

Termination by Baslinton

  • • Immediate suspension for violations
  • • 14-day notice for standard termination
  • • Account closure for repeated violations
  • • Appeal process available

Effects of Termination

Upon termination, your access to Services will cease immediately. Outstanding payments will be processed, and data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy. Some provisions of these Terms will survive termination, including intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution procedures.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
